Mr. Pravin Kumar Darolia in the year 1986 started his professional career with Raymonds Cements, operating in Eastern India. Upon the takeover by Lafarge Cement, he set forth his own venture in the area of development and utilization of Fly Ash as an alternate source of raw material for cement. He succeeded in establishing Leonard Group with its corporate office at Kolkata. He brought about a complete transformation and solution to source Fly Ash from thermal Power Plants which not only helped the cement industry in acquiring a cheaper raw material for their cement production, but also ensured the disposal of fly ash from the power plants which was earlier being dumped into the ash dykes acting as an environmental hazard. According to environmental norms, bagging machines have been installed within the power plants for the movement of fly ash by road and rail. Apart from that the transportation of the Fly Ash is also being done through bulkers, containers and hyvas’ to various cement companies situated both domestically and internationally in Bangladesh, Nepal & Bhutan. His efforts and vision have now created a market which now caters to the demand of 3.5 million tonnes of fly ash monthly for only the Bangladesh market from West Bengal itself after initiating the first cargo movement of fly ash from Kolkata to Bangladesh in the year 1999-2000.
Mr.Arvind Ghosh with his Engineering background associated with the policy making and strategic planning team of Leonard Group bringing with his four decades of expertise in Super Thermal Power Station of Central Sector. His portfolio encompasses planning, erecting, commissioning, operating and maintenance, Environment, Management and Handling / Utilisation of fly ash; Bi product of Power Plants.
Fly ash handling and utilisation being one of his core competency, he has an in depth knowledge of the process involving the selection of suitable need based equipment to maximise the production in an Eco friendly manner which resulted in setting an example of the highest achieving Power Station in terms of Ash Utilisation during his previous tenure with Super Thermal Power Station.
Target setting, project monitoring and execution, Team Building and maintaining excellent customer relationship are the key areas where he primarily focuses on.
Mr. Aditya Pandey is a part of the core decision making team; he is a cost accountant with over two decades of experience. He has previously worked with various companies based in Packaging, Print Media, FM Radio, Steel, Cement, Electronic consumables, among various others, showcasing his all-round capability. During his stint in the aforementioned fields, he brought many laurels for the Company on account of having a good command over execution of the given task / projects.
